The Georgia Transportation Alliance is led by an executive committee, steering committee, and board members representing over 100 years of experience across the entire transportation industry. These dedicated professionals are the driving force behind GTA’s status as a public policy leader in Georgia. These professionals also serve in a variety of civic and leadership positions in Georgia’s business, civic, and non-profit worlds.

Joseph Santoro
Executive Director
Prior to joining the Georgia Transportation Alliance, Joseph worked as the Vice President of Policy & Government Affairs for the Council for Quality Growth. At the Council he worked on local, regional, and state policies related to infrastructure planning, legislative initiatives, regulatory issues, land use, transportation, and environmental planning impacting the development and growth industry. Joseph has over 10 years of government affairs experience working at the intersection of economic development and regulations for membership-based organizations in metro Atlanta evaluating local, state, and federal policy priorities and setting forth recommended pathways to successfully advocate on behalf of the Board leadership and membership.
Joseph earned a B.S. in Public Policy from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Joseph is a 2023 graduate of the Atlanta Regional Commission Regional Leadership Institute.
Joseph and his wife Kayla live in the City of Atlanta where they recently purchased their first home.

Kevin Petroccione
Manager, Government Affairs
Kevin Petroccione joined the Georgia Chamber on January 6, 2025 as Manager, Government Affairs. He comes to the Georgia Chamber with more than 10 years of experience in federal and state government. A Georgia native, Kevin worked in the office of former U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson and as Legislative Director for a Georgia member of the U.S. House of Representatives. Kevin has a degree in American history from Kennesaw State University and lives with his wife and daughter in the Atlanta suburbs.

Braelyn Barrett
Operations Coordinator
Braelyn recently earned her B.S. in Criminal Justice from Kennesaw State University and interned with the Georgia Chamber’s Government Affairs team during the 2025 Legislative Session, where she developed a passion for the legislative process and advancing pro-business policies. Her role with GTA is a shared position with the Georgia Screen Entertainment Coalition (GSEC), another Georgia Chamber affiliate.
Braelyn is committed to delivering exceptional service to our members and is eager to deepen her understanding of Georgia’s screen entertainment.
